Mindeye

Unstable Realities

Veronika Pell is a multidisciplinary artist based in Helsinki, working with AI under the pseudonym Mindeye. Under this name, she creates digital series, video art, and animated short films. Her collaboration with generative models exists in flux—forms constantly reassembling into something both recognizable and unplaceable. Theatrical by nature, her visuals unfold like staged rituals, shifting between the seductive and the grotesque, the divine and the unsettling, capturing creation and decay simultaneously.

She calls her approach “growing imagery,” through which she directs mutating forms with hyperreal textures and ethereal distortions, turning instability and fragility into worlds that feel fluid and impossible to pin down.

In 2025, Mindeye was named one of the Top 50 Women in AI Art by Leonardo.Ai and Forbes (Australia). Her short film How to Poison Art won 2nd place in the Arts & Culture category at the Korean International AI Film Festival, was shortlisted by Runway’s Gen:48—the AI Academy Awards—and was screened at numerous international film and video art festivals.
